Nancy Moreno-Derks, M.S., LMFT

Ms. Moreno-Derks has developed a seamless system by which the process of accreditation is easily adapted by any institution seeking accreditation or re-accreditation.

Accreditation Experts™ offers services that assist private post-secondary institutions achieve and maintain appropriate compliance with accrediting agencies, in particular the Distance Education Training Council.

Accreditation Experts™ is a small organization, led by Nancy Moreno-Derks.

Ms. Moreno-Derks, has been responsible for assisting several institutions which have achieved national accreditation through the Distance Education Training Council (DETC) www.detc.org

For more than 25 years, she led a consulting organization working with community agencies, school districts and university systems on program evaluation and accreditation projects.

As a Consultant to community based organizations, she has partnered with a variety of specialty groups, focusing on providing services to target groups such as, the military, victims of crime, the developmentally challenged and medically fragile children and their families.

As a direct result of her success with the accreditation process, she was invited to be a presenter at the DETC’s 2009 Fall Conference on “ The Process of Accreditation and How To Ensure For Success."

She has participated in accreditation on-site visits for the DETC as the Education Evaluator on the review team. Recently she was invited to participate as a panel member for the Appeals Committee for a national accreditation organization.

Ms. Moreno-Derks earned her Masters of Science from San Diego State University, and her triple major Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, Psychology and Sociology from Whittier College, Whittier, California. Currently she is enrolled in a doctoral program for the purpose of enhancing her knowledge base.

She is assisted by a network of professionals which provide educational institutions with dedication, integrity, expertise and experience.
